This pretty 20cm Maori Wahine ( Female) Doll is dressed up all ready for a Kapa Haka (song and dance) performance, with the addition of her baby on her back.

On her head is a traditional taniko weaving headband, and on her chin, a traditional Maori woman's moko ( tattoo). Around her neck is a replica Maori greenstone tiki, a fertility symbol.

Around her shoulders is a traditional feathered cloak and underneath, the bodice of her dress resembles the traditional taniko woven bodice. She wears the traditional piupiu skirt, from which hangs her long pois, ready to swing.

The doll, approximately 8' in height, comes attractively boxed. The box carries further details about the doll.
